it's things like this that actors do that make me feel like they are a necessary part of the world, yes so films and TV shows aren't something entirely useful, but actors who go through long hours of preparation just for a child who's sick and they might never see or hear from again and aren't related to them in anyway makes me feel like there is reason to have faith in humanity

Dude. Ron Pearlman is one of my favorite actors. His role as Koulikov in Enemy at the Gates was pitch perfect.

The Make-a-wish foundation grants wishes for kids up to a value of $5000. So if kids want objects like TV's, playstations and such, it can't exceed that amount of money.

I don't get feels from this. The makeup crew was paid to put the makeup on the Ron, and he was paid to spend the day with the kid. That's where the $5000 went.

This isn't a donation thing, nor do I think the actor did it because he wanted to.

ron perlman is worth well over 40 million dollars, and you honestly think he would go put in like 10 hours of work for 5k? maybe thats alot of money to you, and its a 200 hour month for me, but for him its .000125 of what he already has. quit being such a pessimistic douche and realize that sometimes being rich and famous doesnt mean youre a money grubbing heartless asshole
