It's from a book called Leviathan, it's an alternate version of WWI. The Allies use genetically modified animals called Beasties, while the Axis use machines called Clankers. The neutrals countries use a combination of both.

I'm not sure, but I do believe this is from some book named "Leviathan", which is apparantly set in an alternate version of World War 1.

That would explain why some countries are neutral who shouldn't be.

And why it's a war between Darwinists and "Clankers"
