Just like every human being is unique, like a snowflake -- even
identical twins -- every nonhuman being is unique, like a snowflake.
When we reduce non human animals to the meat on their bones, their
breast and vaginal secretions, their skin and how we can make it into
a pair of shoes or a handbag, they lose their dignity and their lives
that are precious to them.,
And we lose something too. Every time WE hear the message, ta,
vegan" but continue on without a real tho Light, we lose a piece of
ourselves., We miss an opportunity to be greater than we were befo re,
an opportunity to be that great person we know we were born to be.
And slowly but surely, we find ourselves unhappy, searching, and
waiting... for someone, something to come along and fix our lives. But
perhaps the key to axing our lives lies in deciding to stop destroying
others' lives. Perhaps the key to fixing our lives is stopping, really
thinking, and deciding our "pleasure" could never be worth someone
else' s "pain" and definitely never someone else' s life.
We always think if the time came, we would do the right thing. Well,
the time has come.,
