Guns really aren't too expensive, I also don't know where you live but at least in BC, Canada can get them easy as **** here. I don't mean to brag or anything, but come zombie time, I'm set. Between my family, we have about 2 guns each, along with hatchets knives machetes etc, etc (we hunt). I live in a low population, well fed and easily defensible area. would definitely miss **** like the internet though.

1. You're most likely not buying combat ready swords, so they'll break within the first 10-15 hits or so.
2. Crossbows are slow to reload and you have to worry about the string replacement, which if you've never done before it could be difficult.
3. Both these weapons have extremely short ranges compared to the average gun, along with the fact that you may have to fight against other factions a gun is the most universally useful.

i dont have a gun, but i do have throwing knives im good with, but only 3, and theyre ******, but i have a machete and im strongish, and 200 lbs... idk id probly just be extra zombie food.
