"Don't change yourself just to make someone happy."

Which basically nullifies the rest of the list

I disagree; what is wrong with changing yourself to make yourself happy? I think that is the consensus of this list; not to make other people happy but to aspire to become a better person. I guess what #40 means is don't try to be someone that you are not just because someone wants you to be that person.

It's not changing yourself, it's evolving yourself that makes this list work.

Evolving is to be something better than once was. In that sense, change is different than evolving since change can either be good or bad or even neutral.

evolution is not nessesary becoming better, its just a long period change.

you could evolve to have no sight. i dont see that as "better". If by evolving, you are thinking about technology, that would be simply upgrading.

And plus humans cant "evolve" their personality or themselves, in this context, its only called change. An example of evolution would be like, 10,000 years of humans adapting to the cold, thus having more hair on our body.

Changing your personality or who you are is not evolution. Its just change.

Making yourself more suitable for others will make you happy in the long run from the benefits of doing so.
