Doctor Who. The Time Lords have a special watch, Fob Watch, that can store their Time Lord dna while they hide as a human. The catch is, while they're hiding, they have no idea who they are or what the watch is. The Doctor has used/carried one since the original series from the 60's, and the Master, his arch enemy, had one as well. Pic related, Professor Yana opening his watch to learn that he is the Master.
