I firmly believe that if everyone worked in the food service industry (specifically fast food) for at least a year, the world would be a much nicer place. Especially those entitled counts who think they're better than you and expect to get waited on hand and foot because we get the privilege to serve them. Fuck them all

I work at a IHOP. If only you bastards knew the horrible things I want to do to you when I hand you those pancakes at 10:45 at night and you tell me they're "too dark". Holy hell. Holy fucking hell.

I never blame the person serving me food if it's burned or not made right.
I blame the people who made the food. It's not my waiter or waitress' fault that the kitchen placed toast burned on one side on my plate.
It's not my waiter/waitress' fault that my sister-in-law was served a virgin daiquiri that had been blended with a bottle cap.
As long as the waiter/waitress will remedy the problem, they will still get a good tip.

Really, I don't see the point of being an asshole to the people you're relying on for food. I would never complain unless they brought me something I didn't order, to which I would politely tell them that it wasn't what I ordered. Why be a dick about it?

It's a binding contract the second I hand you my money. If I get what I ordered, and it at least appears to be fresh, I won't complain even if it tastes like shit. It's what I ordered, I just don't have a personal taste for it obviously.

However... If my order is wrong (I'm one fucking person, it's not that hard), it's a total fucking wreck, cold, obviously not fresh, or tastes like shit even though it was great the last time I ordered it, the store is going to regret the day they accepted my money to give me shitty service.

I'm hated at a couple of Taco Bells, because the food there used to be delicious, now I end up taking my order back up about 8 times out of 10, because there's practically nothing in the fucking tortilla/shell except 150 pounds of fucking lettuce. I didn't pay for fucking lettuce.

It's worth nothing however, I never do anything unethical like complain to get free food or a discount when my order wasn't wrong, people like that disgust me. I did once go too far and make a waitress cry at Buffalo Wild Wings, and I felt terrible and left a $40 tip.
