Takes me back fondly to this part. I remember thinking when reading the book that he seemed like a bit of a Ralph Wiggum at first. But then you come to realize that they didn't put the boy in Gryffindor for nothing.

But Harry was willing to allow himself to be killed so Voldemort could be defeated. Claiming he was thinking of no one but Ron and Hermione is exceptionally, unbelievably retarded. He was willing to DIE for the sake of, not just Hogwarts, not just the Wizarding World, but for the sake of the entire planet.

Not that I'm diminishing at ALL Neville's role in the story, but the person who made this obviously didn't pay very good attention to the story at all.

i'm sure you'd be ok with dying for such an epic cause too if you had a magic stone that would revive you 5 minutes later in your pants pocket.

The Resurrection Stone does not give you the power to come back from the dead. It could bring back shades, but you'd have to be alive to do it anyway. Also, he didn't have it when he entered the forest anyway.

Well, in Norwegian it's translated to "langballe". If you translate this to English again it would be something like "long balls".

I really dont get translators ..

Dumbledor is an old name for bumblebees in English, so at least we know where the 'bee' part came from.

I ******* hate the ensemble darkhorses.

The story is about Harry for ****** sake. Stop shoehorning your own retarded story into the already good one.

Neville only got one kill at the series and that was the snake that was about to eat his friends. He didn't know it was the final hocrux. He wasn't doing it to kill Voldemort.

"omg he teh real chosen oneee!!!!!"
Shut the **** up and read the books again you ****.

i think that you need to reread the pic a little slower no one is saying they are saying as i interpret it that they are both chosen ones while harry was chosen to end the for everyone by defeating the leader neville was chosen to lead the entirety of the followers while harry was of on his solo battle make it possible for him the get to the point of fighting voldemort which is an equally important part

if you have read the inheritance series its like eragon is chosen to fight galbatorix and therefore win the war but nasuada is chosen to lead the army while he is doing it and make it possible for him the get to the point of fighting galbatorix

They only SHOWED one thing. He got tortured repeatedly protecting innocent people. If that isn't heroism then it doesn't exist.

The only reason Harry could defeat Voldemort and was the chosen one was because Voldemort Listened to a prophecy that only came true because Voldemort believed it.
If Voldemort would have ignored the prophecy then he would have ruled the world and Harry wouldn't have the power to defeat him.

Or so you think. Don't forget that the first part of the prophecy had already happened when Voldemort heard it. It might've as well fulfilled some other way. Voldemort also never heard the rest of the prophecy - is it fate? If he had heard the whole prophecy, I don't think he would've went after anyone. Though he was insane, so go and figure.

But I think it's true that Voldemort kind of chose Harry as his number one enemy over Neville - perhaps because of their similar parentage.

I just love how a character as seemingly insignificant as Neville ends up becoming probably one of the biggest heroes of the series.

Actually Neville was one of the characters that grew the most in the books.

He went from a pussy Shinji Ikari into a full badass Daryl Dixon

I actually think he developped pretty well. Mostly on the last 3 books, of course, but he was always there.
