Just hit me. Did you ever think about how a deer or a duck during hunting season is called wild "game"? so when you hunt a human, they are also called game so "The Most Dangerous Game" is a human, not a dangerous sport.

i wish I could have enjoyed this book when we read it in eighth grade, my teacher was a psycho though. gonna have to check it out nest time i hit up the library.

I remember reading this in 9th grade.
It was the only short story that I've ever been assigned that I actually enjoyed reading.
