Everyone is questioning minor costs like the training and cowl, the better question is how the hell did the stealth heli-jet thing only cost $60 million? The F35 cost about $40 billion to develop and is a far less effective VTOL stealth plane.

Not to be "that guy" but I found the concept of his cape quite interesting.

The material his cape is made out of stiffens when an electrical current is applied, supplied by his gloves

I'm pretty sure such advanced technology would cost a lot more than 10,000.
