Long ass post

These were intended for the Hebrew people, some of these like eating shell fish and pig were bad for people then because their bodies were easily affected by the toxins and other things in the food. Back then a woman grabbing a males balls was most likely considered adultery, which is something that is not permitted by their people. Jesus also changed that in the bible by saying he who has not sinned cast the first stone.

the not wearing gold part was taken completely out of context.

8I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling; 9likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire,

The part about people killing those who do not believe in what you do is taken out of context as well to a certain degree. It is saying the people who worship other gods and then come into a synagog and spread what they are worshiping will be seen as abominations and they should be stoned. Yet again though Jesus said he who is without sin cast the first stone. Also this was the culture at the time and it was what was to be followed as laws until Jesus came and changed them.

Romans 8:33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. This has nothing to do with not being able to do any wrong. Romans is all about forgiveness and it is about how Jesus died to release us from the sin of flesh.

The crushed testical part is saying that they cannot become high priest, the high priests back then were expected to have children and without them having male reproductive abilities they were inable to do so.
The whole beard issue is explained in this: The reason for both prohibitions in Lev. 19:27 have to do with pagan practices. Adonai told His People Israel not to shave their hair around the temples by the ears and around the head. this was seen as a practive of idoltry.

All of the passages were intended for the Hebrews, correct. Along with the passage about homosexuality. In my opinion, the bible should be 'updated' to fit modern times or standards. If you take the main message of every story, and exclude all the parts that are against modern society to an extreme, I feel the Christian church will regain many former members.

What i am saying is a lot of those there were intended for the Hebrew people if they are taken literally. The world not only Christians have evolved these laws into different and more up to date laws. for example “Cursed is anyone who moves their neighbor’s boundary stone.” Deuteronomy 27: 17
This has changed from you not moving your neighbors land boundaries into not trespassing and stealing from your neighbors.
