The Tale of Winston Sexton

Let's look at this another way:
Winston Sexton, one Sim among many, realized that his world was ruled by something more than a mayor, than a man. A deity.
Others came to the same realization only to go unnoticed. Some prostrated themselves before their Lord and lived according to the player's laws in hopes he would have mercy on their Green Diamonds. Others despaired, becoming addicts and vagrant madmen, crushed by the knowledge of their puppet lives.
But not Winston, no.
He wanted to show the power governing their lives how feeble it truly was. He saw the face of God, looked down into it and spat. With flames, Winston claimed his city from the player, burning it in sacrifice to his own heresy.
Winston Sexton was just a character in a game. Nothing like real life, of course, we're not the matrix because... well, this is real. It is. Although you do have to wonder: if you knew what he knew,
would you burn it all down too?
