Colorization skills

What if there really was no colour, however they invented a device to colourise the world, and the new cameras and tv's could capture this. Because of the colourising device, even memories became in colour, and the only way to ever know what the world was like before that moment was to look at old photos and watch old tv's, just to see what life use to be like.
