It actually makes sense that they dont give you ********* of money.
If you're trading in a game, it means you don't want it, which (usually) means it's ****** or old.
Plus they have to make a profit, they're buying the games to resell them.
And finally, they don't half half bad prices considering all that.
I got a bit over $130 in instore credit from trading in my old dsi and 9 games.
Pretty good price without the hassle of ebay or craigslist.

Thank you. Honestly, I use gamestop because I like their service. Thanks for explaining it all because I wouldn't have the first clue how to explain it.

How do you you feel about those people who try to sell a copy of a ps1 game worth maybe 30 dollars but are asking for around $200 on ebay?

its all about supply and demand
It's very unlikely they'll be able to sell a ps1 or even ps2 game.
if someone wants to buy a specific ps1 game it's unlikely they'll drive down to gamestop, they'll check on ebay, or a similiar site.
Gamestop is for the masses, not for the collectors.
Besides, they don't even buy games from previous generations where I live.

They don't sell older games by me neither. I just wanted to know what your opinion was on that because you said some solid stuff in your post that I agree with.

ahh, after rereading, i realized i misread your question.
Sorry about that.
For the people selling their games on ebay asking for $200 bucks? I dont give a **** , they're probably not gonna sell **** unless they lower their price though, but they can try.

I'm in total agreement. It's ignorant and childish to think you'll get full price or anywhere close to it when trading in a game.

They're a business, after all. A lot of gamers forget that about a lot of companies.
