Why does nobody understand how great the Empire was...
The Sith? Pure evil. But the empire, was not evil. They were simply grasping the universe too firmly. They never raided someone they didn't have to, but when they did, they were brutally thorough. The empire simply wanted what the Greeks, the Romans, and the Macedonians desired; Total and unopposed control over the known universe. Their rule was harsh, but they were not baby killers. A rule under the empire would not be terrible, and the empire had the resources to eventually make a great universe. The Emperor, while terrible and evil, was on his last legs, and Vader was soon to take his place. We've seen Vader's soft side, and we know he would rule much more kindly. As for the clones/storm troopers, they're just being ordered to do what they must. The Rebels cannot control a rule over the universe, because they lack the resources. The entire reason they even survived episode 6's battle was because Vader decided that he would save his son. If he hadn't, or if Luke had gone to "The dark side" then the rebel's death would be inevitable. The rebels cannot protect everyone, and after a while, their numbers and resources would dwindle down to a fraction of what they had during the war. The best way to protect the galaxy/universe was to let the Empire rule, let time run it's course, and then let Vader fix things, and after Vader, IF Luke had turned, we know Luke would rule fairly. Of course, this is just coming from some dude that likes the empire, so please, post a rebuttal for the Rebels. However, refrain from "They r da good guise" please, it's not really a valid argument since from the empire's eyes, the rebels were terrorists.

No feels here. They are merciless soldiers working for an evil ruler who destroies planets. And they were reviled to be clones of an Professional bounty hunter, so when they watch their fellow soldiers die, I don`t think they get depressed... more distured since they actually is wathing themselves die over and over again
speaking of dying over and over again, here have a Dark Souls wallpaper

Anyone else think of the "We Are ODST" Trailer where they're standing around a grave like this.
