For people who say Slipknot isn't metal, they are metal, they just aren't the type of metal you like. Why can't we be tolerant of people's tastes?

Who am I kidding? This is the internet; no one will listen to this.

I like how you say that, yet I am 99% sure if someone were to say they liked Justin Bieber you would judge them in an instant.

It depends on how they approached with it, really. If it were in a serious discussion about music I probably wouldn't (although I have yet to be in that situation so I honestly cannot say for sure whether or not I would). However, if it was over the internet, on say a post like this, and someone were to say that the band the post was about sucked and that Justin Bieber was the king of music, I probably would lash out at them honestly.

I'm not claiming to be a saint here, I'm trying to honestly say what I would or wouldn't do, but again, I still can't say for sure.

Hey, im not trying to be a douchebag here. Id lash out at someone on the internet/IRL (asuming I know them well enough) saying they are enjoying One Direction. I usually try not to be jerk about things that depend on opinion, but there are limits.

I agree with that. And I'm sorry, I didn't mean for it to come off as me thinking you were a douchebag. I don't, and I'm glad we were able to have this civil argument on tastes of music.
