the glitch was fixed when Rebecca made the Animus 2.0 and switched Desmond over from the Animus 1.26 used in AC1. She included 'patch notes' about it. It was a clever way for Ubisoft to show the improvements in AC2 over AC1. She does the same thing in every AC game from then on.

AC: Brotherhood = Animus 2.1
AC: Revelations = Animus 2.2
AC3 = Animus 3.0

aparantly in his life ezio did swim, remember the animus is like a record of his genetic memory, so if altair never swim in his life, then you cant swim with him

mitems was an attempt to make a pun with "mad" and the word that the picture says is the same as "items"

I think he meant to say "mitems" but mispelled it to "madm in" which was then changed by the word filter to "mitems." I could be wrong though.
