The drawback of the CSO supercarriers are the overall lack of ship-to-ship armaments. The vast majority of their weapons are mounted for planetary bombardment. I would wager an Infinity-class would have little trouble downing one of them.

There were actually 2 (to my knowledge) Executor Class Super Star Destroyers built. The first one (vader's flagship) was destroyed at the Battle of Endor. I can't remember much about the second one but it had a big hook or something on the front of it.

Overkill is what Warhammer 40K has always strived for. Hell, their swords are fucking chainsaws and their standard Bolter rifles fire high density .75 caliber shells that tear through a target's armor and then detonate, literally ripping their organs apart. And that's why everyone loves it.

Though I agree comparing it to almost any other sci-fi franchise is hardly fair in the vast majority of cases.

Also, the ships Columbus chose were not the largest European ships of their day. Not even close.

He chose them (two caravels and a carrack) because they were small, fast, hardy ships with a good cargo-to-speed (draft) ratio and required a small crew to operate.
In short- Could haul ass all day and night, in every weather condition, with lots of food and not a lot of sailors to feed. Perfect for trying to sail around the world to India.

The Chinese vessel it is being compared to was built for a different purpose entirely. Different tools for different jobs.

Bigger =/= better. If you compare the Chinese to Western Europe, there is no contest as to who was the master of the seas.

First, size of the ships is disputed, second he was limited to relatively clam and gentle seas avoiding the deep ocean.
Trying to sail something like that mammoth on the open ocean would have been suicide. Not to mention painfully slow and due to necessary crew you would starve to death if you could not resupply often.
Also, ships didn't last long. He lost many of his ships to them simply falling apart, and others had to be dissasembled when he got back.
Its easy to build big if you have manpower and resources, building well is another story.

It should also be pointed out that Columbus had orders to go to India, ended up in present day Haiti/Dominican Republic, killed the Arawak "Indians" that lived there, and transported millions of Africans to work the island instead. He then "discovered" America. By that I mean another man on the ship had spotted it and called it out that he saw land. To which Columbus said, nope, I saw it last night, but we were headed for it so I didn't bother saying anything. Because Columbus was a jackass like that. After they landed, he proceeded to kill more Indians and had more supplies and people brought over from Europe because he said "he had found vast riches". He didn't find anything and was a traitor
All of this are things that were written down by the crew that traveled with Columbus in journals and diarys. If you want to learn some more things that history class didn't tell the truth about, find a story of the first thanksgiving where it turns out they ate people.

It is a early map of present day Australia. The Dutch were the first to find it, not the British. They called in New Holland. When the Dutch attempted to build a colony there (On the west coast) things did not go so well so they abandoned it.
Later Captain cook discovered the east coast of Australia and called it New South Wales as it had a similar coast line to Wales. Later the British built a Penal colony in the land which is now known as Sydney.

Thing is there are LOTS of historically unconfirmed "Firsts" to land on American soil. Some of them are not just plausible, but probable. Key word there is Unconfirmed.

They got lazy, they thought they reached the limit and kinda stopped advancing, thus letting europeans get past them.

It wasn't laziness, it was Confucianism. They didn't need, or want, to colonize the tributary states, they simply wanted to highlight the glory of the Chinese Empire.
They didn't reach their limit, that is simply naive to contemplate. They had other pressing issues to concentrate on, such as continued Manchu attacks on the Northern border, the Japanese pirate raids, and corrupt officials draining the imperial treasury.
But the main point to take from this history lesson is that they certainly did not get lazy (what ever made you ponder that is beyond I), they simply did not have the same values as Europeans, nor any desire to exploit, massacre, and "convert" other peoples. They just wanted to let the world know that the Mings were in power.

If you are lazy to read the book, just search for an animation to watch. They are pretty good, there are animated movies, cartoons, and movies about the 3 dynasty.

The game is basically base on the book romance of the three kingdom, but later on they decide to put in more fact so thy also put the script of three kingdom dynasty.
