my eyes appear to change colour, but that's because I have central heterochromia (a fairly common condition where your iris is a different colour close to your pupil). i.e. when I'm looking at a bright light or when I'm out in the sun, my pupils dilate, and the brown area near my pupils shrink, exposing more green and making it look like I have green eyes. the rest of the time, my eyes look brown. no colour change is actually happening, it's just the way my eyes are perceived.

as far as I know, this is the only way for eyes to "change" colour (despite no actual colour change taking place).

My eyes seem to turn a neon teal (they're normally cyan) when I'm tired or in pain. I think it's really cool, but after it happened a few times I realized it was probably because my eyes ended up bloodshot and it made my eyes simply look Teal due to the color differences.

your eyes sound like they're a really cool colour (bloodshot or otherwise :P)

Well thanks. The only time I think my eyes look good is if I'm in the sun and the light's glaring off them to make them an even brighter blue, but I think the Teal is cool and I'd do it more often if the only way I knew how besides being tired wasn't getting suncreen in my eyes.

And that's interesting to have completely 'different' eye colors in the sunlight.
