I'd do the 1 mill. I have no problem trying for 100 mill but with 1 mill I could pay off my current loans, choose a university to go to and pay for it so no loans for school ever again. Pay off my car loan and put some money into my new car to make it look nicer. After graduating I'd choose where I want to go for work and when I've decided I'll buy a house wherever that may be. After all that I'd assume I'd have a few hundred grand left easily and I would put that into a savings account so I could use it for emergencies and retire early.

For one, it's twice the risk for 100 times the reward. Technically a low-risk, high reward scenario. Not to mention, I never had the money to begin with, so my life would just continue as it had before, even if I didn't get it.
