He was so shocked by the fact that Brits preferred good music to him that someone had to carry him back to the car
You lucky bastards now he's coming back here

Britian didn't like him.
1. He slept in on his concert day
2. He decided to play video games for 2 hours, instead of you know, doing his ******* concert
3. Refused to do anything to people that bought backstage passes.
4. Someone called him out, and he tried to fight him, only because he had two big bouncers with him

i would challenge you to find anyone who isn't a 14 year old girl who likes these in britain. They suck so bad, but will always get to number 1 as teenage girls will always get their parents to buy the music

Except in a poll or maybe an actual award ceremony, they were voted the worst boy band by britain. Justin Beiber the worst international pop singer. Adam Lambert got the best international pop singer.

However, it may have been an online poll, which would be hoghly biased and could be incredibly wrong.

Fairly accurate in my opinion.

Opinion.

They remind me of the Beatles early career
Short songs about love with little depth, and enough teenybopper fans to populate a small island
Maybe they'll evolve beyond that, like the Beatles did

Hmm, I agree, though I feel that the Beatles original songs weren't basically saying "We have accents and we sing songs about how pretty you are, LOVE US!" Most of the beatles original songs were covers of other popular songs.

The Beatles weren't manufactured for one purpose.

Whenever a boy band tries to evolve nowadays their fans ditch them for someone else. It happened to the Jonas Brothers, it will happen to 1D if they try to as well.

I only found out that Freddie Mercury was from a tiny island called Zanzibar, just east of Africa, when I read his biography. He was one of the very few followers of the Zoroastrian religion on the planet, a religion almost unique to that island. It must have been strange for all these huge names to attend his funeral, and have old Zanzibarian priests chanting in a language they don't understand, doing a ritual they've never seen.

He even wore the Kusti, a series of cords around the waist that signify his faith. It's just something interesting that I never knew about the man.

Zoroastrianism is not "almost exclusive to zanzibar" it was the main religion of the entire frakking persian empire.

I mean currently. It's practiced elsewhere, but not very widely.

Didn't even know about him coming here and getting kicked out, but it's made my day.
