It isn't great because unfortunately I don't have the source before they got rid of the background without setting the right method. (most likely the reason why it got broken)

I don't see how it's broken, but I do see lines in yours.

what i meant is that in the one you had the background is removed from a previous gif, resulting in you seeing a 'trace'
the lines in mine occur because in the version you had they didn't de-optimize the gif before removing the bg
if you happen to have the original gif (with the original white background) i could remove the background, without creating the trace, and without the missing lines
if you would like me to fully restore it but don't have the original then i'll be happy to do it for you but it would take a bit more time
but i hope you just happen to have the source ^^
