As if it's because we're Americans. If you live in any other country that has ever had skirmishes with yet another country, would you hear about every single person killed on the opposing side? No. Because that is retarded. You would not hear/know about all of them and you would most definitely not remember unless you made a serious effort to. We don't not care because we're American. We don't care because we are not told through media unless you actively go looking for it and even then, not every attack in the middle east that's orchestrated by us is recorded and put of for public information. It's not like we're just these amazingly cold-hearted demons who don't care when someone dies. On top of that, it's not even a majority of America who is "outraged" when anyone in the country dies and, contrary to popular believe, there are millions of people OPPOSED to the - what is defined as a - "police action" in the middle east. Imagine that. Americans that don't like war? Impossible, right?
People in America are not inherently idiots. If any of us are, it is because they were raised that way by their parents who were raised by their parents who were, obviously in turn, raised by their own parents and it continues going back in ancestry until you find yourself in another country anyone not descended from native Americans is, you guessed it, EUROPEAN.
There are idiots in every country and while I'm find with laughing at Americans for doing retarded things, I really can't stand it when people just make fun of us BECAUSE we're American. Go ahead and call me an "Amerifag" or what have you, but it honestly does annoy me greatly.
Now to close this rant of mine; America is like every other country in the world is or was when it started. We are a very young country and became a world superpower before we knew how to walk, so to speak. I'm not saying we deserve special treatment because of that, but please try to be abit more understanding.
Bring on the red thumbs!

Well, my first thought was to call them battles, but that was too grandiose for what's happening over there. Even if you could call them that, I still wouldn't call a machine flying over and dropping a bomb a "battle".
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I don't know what to call something like that and in the heat of the moment, I just went with skirmish. Sorry if I offended you, dude.

Well you can't use a word that implicates a fight. Sitting behind a computer and murdering can't be considered a fight (even if they actually kill soldiers). I'm sorry for calling you a cunt, that just made me mad.
Sorry for my bad english.

Hey, man, English is a right hard language so no worries there. I misspelled the word "fine" in my original post so I couldn't judge if I wanted.
and just to be a bit more clear; when I used skirmish, I was speaking more about a fight between the other two countries I mentioned. I wasn't really trying to liken a drone strike to a regular fight.
Anyway, you have a nice night, sir.
