Seriously? I'm not even done with High School yet, and I already moved out far away from my mother. I got some sort of scholarship to study in (I shit you not) Mexico. So she immediately packed my shit and sent me over here. The only good thing is that a friend came with me and he's studying here too.

I get to go to college with my best friend since high school freshman year, so I'm glad. But yeah, my mom's just never been away from me for more than a week and we're a Dominican family, so maybe it's just a hispanic thing?
