I'm not really seeing what comment #1 said wrong. Aren't they pointing out it's a scam because just having "___% off" makes it LOOK like a bargain?

You obviously don't have any reading comprehension skills. What he said is what you just fucking said! He is saying tack on whatever percentage off, even negative percentages and it LOOKS like a bargain.

Whoops. I kinda feel bad now, for getting him unwarranted negative thumbs...but in my defense he said it in a terrible way. If he had neglected to put in one word, me and all the ohter people that mistook what he said wouldn't have mistook it. That is to say he shouldn't have said "tack on xx% off..." He should have said "tack on xx%". The word off makes it extremely easy to misread the first word as take, and do the natural "illusion of vision" the 99.9% of humans have, assume you are right about what it said. Plus he contradicted himself so....

I got a used Emerald for like 20 for Christmas and it works perfectly fine. This comment is bull.

One day your internal battery will go bad. It was bad on the used Crystal I bought a year ago or so.

The internal battery will go bad on any game eventually. Crystal is an older game than Emerald as well.

Yeah but if i recall correctly Gold/Silver was the one that really had battery issues, I'm pretty sure the other gens aren't as bad with their internal battery running dry

Its very easy to tell apart genuine carts from cheaphonk kong knock offs. Mainly those that corrupts and they'll do it straight away

You could always replace it. There's a shop in the next town over where I live that changes batteries for Cartidge Based games for like 10-20 dollars
