I'm American and, in a nutshell, I agree with you.

The more religious people tend to be responsible for blocking gay rights, women's rights (I know we all joke about it, but is anybody seriously against a woman's right to her body/abortions/etc.? If anything it keeps us from being dads.), and social change.

That baby is not "their body" it's just in "their body". It is only a perception of yours that you think they are taking women's rights away. It isn't denying a privilege, they aren't victims (most of the time) it is a bunch of irresponsible people (like 90%) that are to lazy to buy a condom. So they try everything in their power not to think of it as murder. Why do you think people get so upset even though it's not their "business".
