I think that the Civil war would be the perfect AC3 game: It's Conner's great great grandson, it's 100 years later, and he fight's for the confederacy because it's more historicaly accurate.

I'm just saying.

Despite common belief, the Confederates were not groups of hick white trash. Back in the day, people from the South had class (hence the term, Southern Gentleman) and they fought alongside Native American tribes (such as the Cherokee) and even some black people. Two of my ancestors died fighting for the Confederacy and when they left to go to war, they each brought a single slave that fought with them.

There's an interesting story that I heard about how one of them was killed. If you care to hear it, I'll write it in the next comment.

So one of my ancestors, Alph, had gone off to defend the South with a slave. When he returned to his home to visit his family, his ten year old brother, James, wanted to go fight with him. Alph, of course, told James that he was too young to go to war but that the next time he (Alph) returned home, he would bring James with him to a battle.

When Alph and the slave left home to return to their camp, James followed behind them discreetly. After a day, the slave noticed that James was following them and told Alph. Alph escorted his brother back home and as he was making his way to his camp, he was ambushed and killed by Union soldiers.
