Anyway when people die of "old age" they slowly deteriorate. Their bodies slowly get crummier and crummier. No matter what, the last ten years of someone's old life will be shitty. Your grampa can take care of himself because he has life left in him. Eventually, and this goes for all old people, he won't be able to.

I know all of this and the risks and that but if everyone let something like that stop them from doing something worthwhile then the world would be a much worse place
