MFW he wasn't even nominated for django. Shutter Island, The aviator, Inception, The departed, Gangs of New York, .. It's a true mystery how he didn't get an oscar yet. Putting my hopes on the great Gatsby now

I think it's mostly the realistic characters in The Great Gatsby and how well they are outlined. I think Leo will certainly be a contender for an oscar if he can fit the role well

I think it's because the foot is facing towards you, making it look like a stub, but looking at it from a straight-on perspective, it looks like the foot is missing. But, that's just my theory.
