This is Divinci. Our tough guy is a 3 year old Egyptian Mau and battled 5 UTIs last year, including one emergency visit due to veterinary negligence (not seen all day and sent home with a fever of 104 degrees).

A chunk of our bank account, many vet visits and a prescription diet later, his prognosis was beginning to look up. That is, until January. My father-in-law passed away; we had a crazy schedule & weren't home as much for a few weeks. Divinci started to stress out a bit, so he stopped eating (he's a big cat, 16 lbs). We took him to the vet a few more times, and he was diagnosed with anorexia (because he refused to eat) and jaundice. Because the vets dismissed him as a finicky cat at first, Divinci developed fatty liver disease and needs a feeding tube.

After a 4 day vet stay (and a new vet), I am happy to say my sweet boy is home Daddy said he went straight to my closest and waited for me to get home from work <3

Everyone told us to put him to sleep. We were asked over and over "why are you spending that much on a cat, are you insane?" I am so thankful we are fortunate enough to pay for Divinci's care. Somehow a company called RedRover found out and said someone referred us and they would like to donate $150 to Divinici's care. How awesome is that? The company was RedRover Relief. They do great things for animals, as well as help those who aren't able to pay for their fur babies care. This is truly a great animal organization that deserves all the help it can get.
