In Montana, using electronic calls on wolves is now legal. I use them because i raise cattle and wolves can tear through a herd pretty ******* quick. they destroy my livelihood. Trying to defend what's mine isn't immoral. Also, if you eat beef in any form and think killing wolves is immoral or wrong, I'd love to show you that you're retarded.

What does that have to do with anything? You wrote a comment and it doesn't seem like you read the content based on that comment. The thumbs really don't matter because people will thumb up anything that they agree with, even if that's not what the content was about.
If you did read the content, or at least understand the content, you wouldn't have written that first comment because you would have the same understanding of the content as europeanswallow. And he has double the thumbs of your first comment, if you really think that matters.

You're a Special kind of moron aren't you? How is my comment not related, or how you gather I didn't read the content? Calling wolves is legal, It's called hunting. Deal with it. If you don't like it, stop arguing with complete strangers on the internet and go do something about it. go be one of those granola hippies that try to take away guns and hunting. I need new targets.

I'll just assume you aren't trolling, but if you are then 7/10.

Ok, I'll go through this in a pace that you can understand.
The content was about a hunter lured a wolf out of preserved land just to shoot it and taking pride in it. Not to defend himself or his property, just for the sake of hunting.
I can see the point of your first comment, and I do agree, killing wolves that has or will probably destroy your property isn't wrong, but that was not what the content was about, and that is why I replied.
I also have to add, if a wolf that lives on preserved land has destroyed your property, I think it's probably better to take some contact with authorities or whoever is in charge of the preserved land before just instantly taking matters into your own hands.

Ok, here's how I feel. My family has hunted for as far back as any of us can remember. We always eat what we kill, but we also take pride in say the antler size on a buck, or how much a bear weighs. It's a mixed bag.

He's not suggesting defending your land/cattle is wrong, he's suggesting luring a wolf off of preserved land just to shoot it is wrong.

Its fine to kill a wolf in defense (ex. if a wolf is killing your cattle), but actively seeking out a wolf, luring off National Park lands and shooting just for fun it is kind of a dick move.

Hunting shouldn't be about killing, it should be about providing for yourself/family either through directly eating what you hunt or selling pelts or whatever.

Tell that to poachers. They do it to sell pelts/tusks for their own or their family's survival. Who's to say he didn't do it for the pelt to sell, and meat to eat? They never said what he did with it, or if it's even real.

Clearly, there's a difference between legal and illegal hunting

and once again, the issue isn't that he killed a wolf, the issue is he killed a wolf by luring it off protected grounds

Whats immoral here is luring a protected species from a national park to simply kill it. Thats not hunting. Thats blood sport. Its people like him, that make PETA **** bricks and protest.
