Jailbroken iPhones can do anything Android phones can do, and in my opinion look better than most. Yes apple is a marketing company that makes very similar phones every other year, and they limit the phones out of the box, but I like iPhones. Unpopular opinions.

Get a case for it, its over all a better phone. Also most pones break when you drop them now, Thunderbolt was built like a tank, I'd use that thing as a weapon lol.

Don't like their build quality, also don't like that the N4 was a design rip of the the GNex, and I don't like glass backs on phones. Its just a personal preference. Spec wise, the N4 is a great phone

yeah, but it's google's phone at the core, and i'm pretty sure they hold the design patent to nexus devices, LG just does what google designs for them.. so it was kinda obvious why the gnex design was continued

and in the 2 months i've had this phone i haven't run into any hardware problems, other than a slight yellow tint to the screen when held at an angle and the charger making a ticking noise (i replaced it with my old nexus one charger- i guess the charger lg made used cheap ass capacitors)
as for the glass back it isn't really an issue unless you drop it on concrete, which is never a good idea for any phone

Agreed. I keep my GNex in a case when I go out of my house or am working. Its in near perfect condition only a few scratches near the headphone and power ports from tryin to plug it in at night while half drunk.

Then it is essentially the same phone, with the exception of the screen of the DNA which is much bigger and has a higher res (1920x1080)... but that higher res screen reduces talk time to about 9h.. which is not ideal if you're going out on the road and need your phone to retain charge. Also, the DNA costs about 450usd more than the nexus 4 unlocked, so price-for-performance wise the nexus 4 wins without competition.

DNA is also Gorrila Glass, instead of normal glass. It doesn't have glass on the back, unlike the nexus 4, and has a higher res forward facing camera. That all makes up for price, and it wins hands down. Also, I have Verizon so it being locked isnt a problem.

lol, dude the internal components are what matters. putting a higher res camera doesn't cost much for a manufacturer (replacing the rear camera of my old nokia, which had a much higher res camera than either of these phones cost me 120usd). also you're willing to sacrifice network freedom? okay your choice dude, but you'll be bound to verizon 4life.
oh yeah, and gorilla glass is a gimmick, it cracks just as easily as the nexus 4's glass (look it up on youtube). and the glass back on my nexus 4 has withstood falls of about 2 feet onto linoleum, so i dont see a problem with it.
they're basically the same phone made in the same time period (q4 2012) with the DNA being overpriced as ****.

Internal components are essential the same, only the Droid has a static internal memory of 16gb. Gorrila glass 2 can withstand a hell of a lot more than your nexus can. (Look it up on youtube.) and its not overpriced with a contract. Done, and done.

they both look great to me, i like the red accents on the DNA and shiny back on the nexus, only real difference i see in between theses phones that would be crucial is the screen.
