the words "lead" and "read" can be pronounced in two different ways depending on how it was used. Example:
"Lead is a sort of metal".
"I have read this book before".
Here the two words rhyme.
"I will lead you to a conclusion".
"I will read this book anyway".
Here the two words have another meaning and sound, but still rhymes.

This is why I'm glad that English is my native language. I imagine that learning shit like homonyms and homophones would be really frustrating.
I don't get it. lead doesn't even rhyme with read. it rhymes with read. And read rhymes with lead.
