I ended up doing that recently with Skyrim and Game of Thrones (Holy shit that season of Game of Thrones was expensive. It was like 40 fucking bucks. Is the viewing experience worth $5/hour? That questions still haunts me to this day).

And even if i was 15, age has nothing to do with being an ass and stealing someone's "product"(cant think of the word i want). I always have the feeling someone doesnt support themselves in an argument when they try and pull the age card. But hey at least you didnt correct my grammar or something.

Age has a lot to do with how much you understand about how economics works. Many studies have proven that pirating a movie or television show not only doesn't effect how much money it earns, but if anything helps the company by spreading the word through cultural synthesis. Take the show "Game Of Thrones" for instance (Fantastic show, by the way) it was the number one most pirated television show of 2012 and even the producer says it doesn't mean a thing and has helped the show grow.

yeah, a lot of games (usually from big producers) benefit from huge marketing campaigns to make you think "hey this looks very promising!". But unfortunately, games have started to follow the music and film industry by investing a lot of money into marketing and less into production. Usually, I buy most of the games I like, but not knowing if I like them or not, I prefer to try them first.

thegamerslife (03/01/2013) [-] I also follow the rule of "big mouths means little action" like when someone says "I;m gangsta and I do drivebys and beat your ass for your wallet" usually are all talk. it's the quiet ones who typically have the experience and know how. same for games and movies, its an almost constant that the louder the ads, and hype the lamer the game. The only thing lately that didn't do this to me was the M&P SHIELD ( pistol ), it had huge ads, and pushing of the product, and it WAS as good as they made it out to sound and then some. unfortunately everyone things there thing is the best and they want everyone to know it, but you can't force someone to like something no matter the money, or ads involved.
