Can't believe people /still/ think that being color blind means everything is grey. It doesn't. When you're color blind, you can't see anything red. You see in shades of yellow, blue and brown, like a dog.

isn't there a type of colorblindness that does something similar? all the colors look almost exactly the same. anyway, someone in my class can't see green or red, it's just gray to her

It's not any specific color you cant see, it's just certain hues blend in together

depends on what TYPE of color blindness. My father can see some colors, but others look exactly alike.
