Maybe he didn't get an Oscar because he said " ****** " 125 times.
#70 to #67 - burgermergerburger (02/26/2013) [-]
Shouldn't that make him win more Oscars?

Maybe I spend too much time on /b/
#64 - irishpunker (02/26/2013) [-]
**** . Anne Hathaway really let herself go.
User avatar #63 - ultimoz (02/26/2013) [-]
I was quite pissed the The Hobbit didn't win any
User avatar #72 to #63 - tdhd (02/26/2013) [-]
One of the most disappointing films of all time
User avatar #77 to #72 - ultimoz (02/27/2013) [-]
Not for me, I loved it. Saw it 3 times in cinema and may get blu ray just to watch the hobbit in blu ray
User avatar #78 to #77 - tdhd (02/27/2013) [-]
Have you read the book?

I have.
User avatar #81 to #79 - tdhd (02/27/2013) [-]
Then surely you were disappointed with how long it took to tell so little of the story, a decidedly average film
User avatar #82 to #81 - ultimoz (02/27/2013) [-]
I loved the book, i think it's brilliant that they spread it out so widely. If they did it with the lord of the rings they could have made a whole film about the scouring of the shire chapter.
Sure, Radagast and Azog weren't in the book but they were both brilliant in the film.
User avatar #83 to #82 - tdhd (02/27/2013) [-]
I disagree - I hated Radagast; their scenes were far too long.
User avatar #84 to #83 - tdhd (02/27/2013) [-]
*his scene
User avatar #85 to #84 - ultimoz (02/27/2013) [-]
Oh, oh well. Your opinion, my opinion, two different things.
Have a nice day

User avatar #58 - cokesmoke (02/26/2013) [-]
He ******* HAD TO GET ONE!!
#57 - anonymous (02/26/2013) [-]
what about wreck it ralph?
User avatar #56 - jinjo (02/26/2013) [-]
I think Django actually made me a fan of his, and I generally didn't like him for the most part before I saw it. He makes a good scumbag/villain, and I really didn't expect him to.
#52 - anonymous (02/26/2013) [-]
He'll get one for the Great Gatsby.
User avatar #50 - beepboopbingslam (02/26/2013) [-]
It's a ******* outrage that he didn't win an oscar for his performance in Djange Unchained.
#73 to #50 - anonymous (02/26/2013) [-]
Well, the question is, what would he win?
Jamie Foxx was the main actor and Christopher Waltz was supporting, so there isn't an oscar left for him
User avatar #59 to #50 - foelkera (02/26/2013) [-]
I'm almost certain that the only reason he didn't win one is because he played a plantation owner. You can tell that society's ruined when political correctness cancels out realism and skill.
User avatar #61 to #59 - beepboopbingslam (02/26/2013) [-]
I completely agree! It's stupid, the man actually sliced his hand open when he smashed that glass, like legitimately sliced his hand open AND carried on acting as well as he did! OUTRAGE I TELL YOU!
User avatar #53 to #50 - aldheim (02/26/2013) [-]
Is the e silent?
User avatar #54 to #53 - beepboopbingslam (02/26/2013) [-]
YEAH IT ******* IS! I can't believe I didn't spot that before I posted it

they totally ignored Paranorman when they where showing the nominees for best animated fil so a bunch of the animators who made Paranorman are protesting the Oscars

>Protesting against something for not having been nominated.
Sounds like bad losers to me.

That was actually a really good movie, I feel it should have been awarded something.

When Quentin Tarantino was up there, he said: "But Leo couldn't make it." I thought to myself: "Good man, **** the Oscars, keep making great movies."

Pic related, probably my favorite role of his
#60 to #20 - carnagejc (02/26/2013) [-]
Excellent movie, but I've always love his performance in Blood Diamond. The amount of time and work he put in to developing the speech (both accent and manner) showed real devotion. Not to mention the acting itself.
#66 to #60 - Yojimbo (02/26/2013) [-]
I agree, another great one. Shutter Island may be my favorite, but i think his BEST acting was in The Aviator
