The whole point in calling the Christian god "God" is because Christians believe you cannot truly know the name of God so they just refer to him/her/it as simply "God".

I thought Yahweh was just the Hebrew word for god, kinda like Allah is the Arabic word for god, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are different gods (although they might be idk too much about it) just that its a different language.

Maybe. And yes the jewish, christian, and muslim god is the same god. Some of them don't like to admit it though.
