My dad watches TV shows about rich people remodelling their homes and stuff and one was an episode about Frankie Muniz buying a place; he had a 4,000,000$ house and a 6,000,000$ one but the one he wanted was 7,000,000$ so he was going to have to sell or trade off one of his other ones and he started crying because he couldn't make the decision. (inb4 "that only 17,000,000, up tehre it sez 40m" his agent or whatever made him stick to a budget I think)

I love the people calling Muniz a dick, saying the guy was only giving an honest opinion blah blah blah. At the end of the day this guy was trying to insult Muniz' work, and Muniz just shut the guy down. And I thought it was funny.

Muniz may not be a nice person for replying this way, but he did not instigate the conversation, and nor did he set the oppositional tone. This guy's comment wasn't constructive at all. Constructive criticism is the process of offering valid and well-reasoned opinions about the work of others, usually involving both positive and negative comments, usually in a friendly manner rather than an oppositional one. In collaborative work, this kind of criticism is often a valuable tool in raising and maintaining performance standards. Unfortunately, this means the guy was simply being a dick and needed to be shut down. I would have done the exact same thing as Muniz in his situation because it was fully warranted. One should not give what one can not take.

The comments seem to be divided, but my opinion is as such: He did a good job honestly. iIsay that for a handful of reasons, not going to argue his acting, but he has a solid point in that he retired with $40 million... and thats it! No over dramatics, no rehab and ankle bracelet, no stealing binges and paparazzi nightmares! He said "Done!" and lived happily ever after!

I think "I have way more money than you" is one of the worst argument ever, money doesn't always make you a succesful man nor someone good.

When this first happened (2 years ago) the other guy (Mtndew) said previous to this tweet that frankie probably spends all his money on Vicodin and dildos... in my opinion Frankie's comeback was warranted...

He might've shut the guy down, but it still doesn't mean that his acting isn't mediocre, just that he made sweet bank.

Still, at least the guy isn't one of those teenage-turned-celebrities that did shit like drink and drive or do drugs and drive, like Lindsay Lohan or Amanda Bynes. I haven't heard any stories of him being a total douche and he seems to actually work well with people, so there's that.

Malcolm in the Middle was one of my favorite childhood shows.
The Middle is just an odd attempt at a remake, and it upsets me.

1. He's not saying he is 19. He retired at the age of 19. hes not 19 anymore.
