i love fj...but why all the hating on religions? why allthe hate on islam? why all the hate on christianity.... I've learned one important thing on FJ since I've been on here... that you get douchebags, ********* , rapists, ***** , fags, bitches etc. from all walks of life.. if they are turkish, atheists, catholics, hindus, christians whites, blacks etc... i know and love how FJ rips on almost anything, but when it starts becoming this bad it's sad. ULTIMATELY, fj was the place where i truly felt united with my fellow man, where I could see the truth and people's free speech always... away from the idea of a few individuals in power, tricking societies into hating each other.. this is my happy place.

This has nothing to do with religion, there are just a lot of Turks in Germany.

Because the more Turks there are, the more their culture spreads in places where it's not supposed to be. Destroying the local culture and replacing it with a foreign one seems very unacceptable to many because their culture defines them who they are, without it they lose part of themselves. And hating on religion is part of the reason because turkish/arabic culture is closely related to their religion, and its history.

I understand what you're saying, very valid point. But if you're going to make such a statement about "culture spreads in places where it's not supposed to be", should that not apply to all? example: when Europeans invaded and massacred North America and basically took the land, or what about the Jews in Israel who got imported from the all over the world to form an illegal state? Does this make every Jew a scumbag? What about in Africa, or consider the U.K' several dominions over the world? All of the above are groups who are not supposed to be there.... the world is for everyone, and the more we push back and try to hate each other rather than work and live together.. it will only get worse.

Perhaps I worded it wrong, because I remember stopping before continuing to type the comment, after not being able to find a proper alternative. Basically what I wanted to say is that turkish people are wrong to try and spread their culture because it is not their country and they are only visitors, so they should respect the culture and wishes to the natives and keep their own culture in an inner circle. You are right about other things, they all seem wrong, but whatever is done is done, and we should not cling to whatever we think should have happened, but to what is happening right now. Native american genocide in America for example, was definately not a good thing, but if we think what we could have done better back then, then we are distracting ourselves from reality. I suppose it is a good thing to consider many scenarios of the past and apply them to the present, but let's not forget that the circumstances nowadays are also different. Long story short: turks/arabs/any other kind of immigrants usually already have a country that they came from, therefore they have their own culture, so they shouldn't try to take over the country that they are currently living in with their ideals and traditions (atleast since they are the minority, if they become the majority then it's a different topic).

Personal point of view: There should be little, or no country based culture at all. It does contradict with my previous comment about culture making every person unique, but if there are no cultural differences then the countries have less things to argue about and humanity might actually become more united. It may seem bad that there would be less diversity but with the changing of the world our mindset would also change and we wouldn't mind such circumstances that much.

Oh yeah, that's actually pretty accurate, except we would probably retain our emotions, also the problem in the movie was that not everybody followed the order
