Hunter. It's all about them ranged kills. Also, I've always wondered what would happen if you were to give a Hunter a modern sniper rifle.

Too bad skoll is just a generic Lightningmaw wolf now. And if you wanna truly be a unique hunter youd have a hydra , there was a week window to tame hydras, cant anymore now. Counts as a ferocious pet and gives crit i think.

Hunter here, though I have recently taken a liking to druids, as well. I miss having a battle buddy with me, though, so I will be returning to my hunter presently. Level 85 MM/BM Goblin Hunter.

Paladins are too goody-two-shoes with their Light and protecting the innocent and all that nonsense. I prefer calling on the elements and throwing lighting bolts.

I loved being a hunter up until Cataclysm. With the whole change in the class, my guild falling apart, and the game turning into a boring routine I just quit WoW after that...

But.. I do miss my troll hunter and all the time I put into him.. all those hours mining and creating cool engineering shit.. all that farming to sell ore.. raiding.. all to just walk away from it one day.
Never even got a cool rare mount. But.. I was satisfied with my Turbo-Charged Flying Machine.

thats nuts man, i too have a troll hunter with mining and engineer. its sad that i no longer play, got him all the way to 90 heroics, and just stopped playing (i loved my green drake the best though)

I usually go Ret Pally, but in Cat I tried healing. It was fun getting instant dungeons and all, but I got really mad when tanks and dps don't do their job

I agree that it sucks to tank lol. I was Ret/Holy, too, and ended up really loving holy. I get pissy too when other classes don't do their jobs and then blame the healer. I dropped out right before MoP, but I still had a whole lot of fun when I played!

Healing hasn't been fun for me since TBC, Ret and Prot pally all the way for me

Whatever you do, dont go into an LFR as a tank and say its your first time tanking it. Assholes will insta kick you even though LFR is a learning mechanic for raids

This is part of the reason I both love and hate being a hunter. No pressure at all. No one expects you to do much. They also give you little, if any, respect. When I was leveling through Outland, however, there was an instance where our tank (5-man) died then left. We were half-way through so I switched to Beast-mastery, pulled out my trusted turtle (awesome ancient-turtle, non-fire skin) and he and I took up the mantle of self-healing tank. It was totally bad-ass, though I did way less damage than normal, way more healing and a whole lot of misdirection.
