for everyone on the internet who has never been to or heard of a Meijer... let me fill you in: i know this is going to blow your mind. but it's a high class version of Walmart with the same prices. they understand that setting up 50 registers can allow you to actually have 50 registers open, which helps give high school kids jobs and makes checking out significantly faster. they also have a video game section large enough to sell all sorts of games and not just the ones that came out within the last six months. and now as a cheap adult, i can buy the cheaper meijer brand versions of most foods and they're better than the name brand versions.
tl;dr- Meijer is the master race of all convenience stores but are only found in the great lakes region of the United States. pic related: you'll never find a brand of chips that will burn your tongue in such an amazing way
