does steam work well on linux? I don't want to try it because the games I have used on linux don't work well.

A couple games have a hiccup here and there (for instance - Intrusion 2 doesn't start if you don't mess with it's execution script. ******* devs haven't fixed it since it came out either) but for the most part it's flawless. Steam installs all the dependencies for you so you don't have to get error messages about missing anything. And finally, you can run it in a terminal easily (just go into a terminal - type "steam") and then when you run a game that is having a problem, you see a full report of what went wrong. When you get it, just go on Google ,find the solution, or submit a bug report and help everyone! YAY!
