I remember watching him as a kid with my little brother, he freakin' idolised Steve Irwin and kept buggin mum and dad to take us on holiday to Australia to see him at his zoo.
We never did go...

I remember my science teacher coming to school the next day. I knew it was going to be rough, she talked about him everyday, had posters all over the place. You know that ************ that talks about Talos outside dragonsreach? It was that, except instead of Talos, it was him and instead of Heimskr it was a middle aged single woman.

Nothing is more awkward than being left to comfort your teacher, over the death of a man in another country, that she had never met. She quit the next day, and i have never seen after that day.

I actually met his family once at the Los Angeles airport.
The whole gate lobby was closed, and there I saw Mrs. Irwin, Bindi, and their son.
Bindi was as adorable as any other, and I told them of how i looked up to their Dad when i was little, and hoped they do the same.
She gave me a hug and cried into my **** because they were delayed for a flight, and when I asked where it was to there Dad's memorial in Australia.
I totally forgot that night was the day he died.
Mrs. Irwin got mad at me for making her cry, but I gave her an unexpected hug; we didn't take pictures because i thought it'd be wrong to ask for a smiling photo right after I made them cry, and if not that, when they were going to their Dad's memorial
*sigh*
I still kept the shirt she cried on.
