Sir, believe it or not, but many European countries don't have their students read To Kill A Mockingbird. In fact, its banned in some West Euro. countries

I'm from Scotland and to be honest it's not on our curriculum but in my 5th year of secondary school our English teacher had us read this he was an amazing teacher and understood the book and wanted us to understand it too, I highly doubt the majority of my class of that year even remember reading it but I personally think it is one of the best if not the best book I've ever read and I have recommended the book to a lot of friends who enjoy reading, so thank you, Mr. Easton!
