I am not saying Global Warming is not there, but I need more evidence that it is caused by us and not part of the global warming and cooling trend.

> Still says there is no global warming caused by humans.

I didn't say that, I just said I need more evidence to know for certain

The evidence is there, I was skeptical too in the same way, do more research

Like what?
The earth is warming slightly like it has at various other items throughout the history of the world?
What evidence is there?
Lots of CO2? Think of how much there was after KT
Hole in the Ozone? pretty sure the Ozone wasn't always there
Sulphur rain? Pretty sure every volcanic eruption ever has done that.

Okay so we've established that co2 is a greenhouse gas correct? It is transparent to visible light however it is opaque to infrared light which is what the earth gives off after absorbing visible photons. Imagine if for millions of years this is packed on top of each other and is pressurized into coal and oil. Now it's out of the atmoshere, this causes the earth to cool and as we all know cooler earth=cooler water= more co2 dissolved in the water. When we dredge up the oil and burn it we release all this co2 that has been sequestered for so many years this causes slow heating, we get enough of it up and we will return the earth to a point in time when it had that much co2 in the atmosphere. To make matters worse heating the water causes it to be less soluable to co2. Since all of our food has adapted to grow in a certain climate we loss ten percent of our crop for every 1 degree C the temp rises, which doesn't sound like a lot but ten percent less food is a big deal. Plus the effect is accelerating.

be an invasive top predator for almost all climates it's introduced to.

we are pretty much the same without even trying
User avatar #12 to #10 - takenpie (02/22/2013) [-]
and adding another species which does the same doesn't help.
