What about financial stability? Some people may not be able afford a child, or be able to raise the child in a stable home. What about the women who could not only lose the baby's life but their own as well? What about women who are physically unable to carry a baby full term? There are many good reasons for a woman to want or need an abortion. Also, everyone (no matter what gender) should be able to have sex with as many people as they want as long as they aren't harming anyone emotionally or physically and not be called harsh names for it.

really just depends on the situation, Im talking about the bad sides of abortion, while you bring up the good reasons for it, so ovbiously I will be seen as the asshole for this conversation. but not everyone supports abortion, sometimes they hate it because they lost a child and werent asked about it because the woman was a dumb bitch

FUUUU (02/22/2013) [-] I definitely agree that abortions should not be used as a birth control like many women think them to be, but if a woman doesn't want a child for any reason, she shouldn't have to be forced to carry it to term and THEN give it up to adoption or keep it. I definitely think that if a woman wants an abortion, then she should have to pay for it herself if it is for any reason other than a medical emergency, though.

You aren't an asshole, I just strongly disagree with slut shaming and the fact that you brought up what you thought was the only acceptable reason to get an abortion.
I do agree, however, that women should not abuse the right to get an abortion. Especially since they can pose potential health threats.
