I'm not american so obviously I am not up to scratch with your politics, but as an outsider, Obama comes across as one of the best things to happen to america in a while, especially after Bush? Yet all I seem to hear is how everybody seems to dislike him? Can anyone Explain?

He raised taxes, he doesn't try to reach across the aisle to people from the other party, he's hypocritical (see my comment above), and he thinks that if you don't believe the same things as him that you must be a country bumpkin. Ex: "they cling to guns and religion" Also yes Bush was a godawful, horrendous president but Obama has added more to our national deficit in 4 years than Bush did in 8, yet somehow everything is still Bush's fault and none of it is Obamas

I am starting to see why some people dislike him, however you cannot deny Obama is a likeable person where as Bush was seen as clumsy and genuinely stupid, so I guess is easily used as a scapegoat...

To be honest though, this is judgemental, the fact that Romney was a Morman and his general personality didn't come across as someone who you would want to lead one of the greatest powers in the world?

People just like to blame their problems on the president.
