The problem is that it's not a BREED it's a GENETIC DISEASE called Achondroplasia that is cultivated amoung some cat's. They are actual midget cats.
The biggest problem with this is that 1 in each 4 cats born from two munchkin's mating result in death due to the fact that this disease is letal if the cat gets 2 genes with the problem.

chemicalundead (02/21/2013) [-] The alleles that cause humans to be midgets, or dwarfs, are also lethal. It's a dominant trait and if two alleles are present they will die before birth. That's why they can have normal sized kids, they are heterozygous for the trait
