It makes no sense.
You're supposed have your totem on you at all times, even when not dreaming. If he doesnt have it at the end, it means that he is in someone else's dream.

The spinning top is not his totem in Inception. That was Mal's totem. His totem was actually his wedding ring; when he is dreaming, the ring appears on his finger. When he's awake, it's gone. That's because in his dreams, he and Mal are still married. So in the last scene when he spins the top and everyone is watching it, they don't see that his finger lacks a ring on it. He is awake in reality at the end of the movie.

Sorry, I thought that was clear. The word censored is actually "rope," not "rape." You see, he stopped a girl from killing herself (presumably hanging herself) but this had the unfortunate and unforeseeable side effect of him then being accused of being the rope itself, and so trying to kill her. A tragic misunderstanding, to be sure. I really hope that helps because I'm not sure how else to explain it!
