By your logic glass is so easily breakable it just smashes to pieces. That is true, glass is easy to break, but ice doesnt expand enough to do that, it could, but im quite certain it wont. Also, ice cubes can be used instead of water. Also, you can flip it WITHOUT freezing the water. Simply use a cutting board or something similar
